Letter i:
- Sound: /i/ — a short sound like the i in it or ink
- Shape: Draw a short line going down, with a dot on top.
- Words: it, in, is
Letter p:
- Sound: /p/ — a short puff of air: p-p-p (pop your lips)
- Shape: Draw a line going down, then a bump on the top right side.
- Words: pan, pat, pin
Letter n:
- Sound: /n/ — hum with your tongue touching the roof of your mouth: nnnnn
- Shape: Draw a line going down, then a hump going down.
- Words: net, nap, nit
New words you can read with s, a, t, i, p, n:
- pin (p-i-n), pan (p-a-n), tap (t-a-p)
- nap (n-a-p), tip (t-i-p), tin (t-i-n)
- sit (s-i-t), nip (n-i-p), sip (s-i-p)
