📚 The Story

Adaeze was a girl who lived on a busy street in Lagos. Everyone in the neighbourhood called her "the kindest girl on the street."

One morning, a new girl named Kemi moved into the house next door. Kemi looked sad and scared. She did not know anyone. She sat alone on the step outside her door.

Adaeze saw Kemi and walked over to her. "Hello! My name is Adaeze. Would you like to play with me?" Kemi's face brightened. She felt surprised and happy that someone was being kind to her.

"Yes, please!" said Kemi. They played together all morning. Adaeze showed Kemi around the street and introduced her to the other children.

That evening, Kemi told her mother, "I love our new home! I have a friend named Adaeze." Kemi's mother felt relieved and grateful. Adaeze's mother felt proud when she heard what Adaeze had done.
