📚 Read This Passage

Passage: Bola's Pet

Bola has a pet cat. The cat is black and white. Its name is Mimi. Mimi likes to sit on the bed. She likes to drink milk from a cup. Bola feeds Mimi fish and rice. Mimi is a happy cat.

Understanding what you read:

After reading, ask yourself these questions:

  • Who is the passage about? (Bola and her cat Mimi)
  • What does Mimi look like? (black and white)
  • Where does Mimi like to sit? (on the bed)
  • What does Mimi eat? (fish and rice)

Tips for understanding:

  • Read the passage slowly.
  • Picture what is happening in your mind.
  • After reading, ask: Who? What? Where? When? Why?
