Read these words with the 'o' sound:
- dog — "The dog runs fast."
- log — "Sit on the log."
- hot — "The sun is hot."
- got — "I got a gift."
- not — "I am not tired."
Read these words with the 'u' sound:
- fun — "School is fun!"
- but — "I like mango, but I love banana."
- gum — "Do not chew gum in class."
- fig — "A fig is a fruit."
- bug — "A bug is on the leaf."
- hug — "Give me a hug!"
- mug — "Drink from the mug."
- rug — "The rug is on the floor."
Read short sentences:
- "The big dog got a bone."
- "It is hot, but fun!"
- "I sit on the rug."

- Read: "A big red bug." Sound out each word.
- Read: "The dog sat on the rug." Sound out each word.
- Make a sentence with the word fun.
