Last lesson, we learned who, what, and where. Today we learn three more question words. Bola asks her teacher: "When is the test?" "Why do birds fly?" "How do you make garri?" These are great questions!
📚 New Concept
More question words:
- When — asks about time. "When does school start?" "When is your birthday?"
- Why — asks for a reason. "Why is the sky blue?" "Why are you late?"
- How — asks about the way something is done. "How do you cook beans?" "How are you today?"
Examples:
- "When do you wake up?" — "I wake up at 6 o'clock."
- "Why do we wash our hands?" — "We wash our hands to remove germs."
- "How do you get to school?" — "I walk to school."
All six question words together: Who, What, Where, When, Why, How.
